Andrea Palladio

Andrea Palladio (1508-1580) was an influential Italian Renaissance architect, whose work and architectural principles greatly impacted Western architecture. His designs are characterized by symmetry, perspective, and the use of classical elements, which became a standard for luxurious residences, especially in Ireland, where his influence can be seen in notable estates such as Ardbraccan, Powerscourt, and Castletown.
