
Andrei Chepyuk
Andrei Chepyuk is a Belarusian anarchist and former political prisoner who was a volunteer with the human rights organization Viasna. He was arrested during the widespread protests in October 2020 and sentenced to 5 years and 9 months in prison, spending 4.5 years behind bars due to prolonged pre-trial detention. After his release on April 18, 2023, he was briefly detained again but was later released. He is currently receiving support from the solidarity fund 'Baisol' for his initial needs abroad.
