
Andrej Blatnik
Andrej Blatnik is a prominent Slovenian editor, writer, theorist, and educator who has significantly contributed to the development and understanding of contemporary Slovenian publishing over more than four decades. He has received numerous accolades for his literary work, including the Prešeren Foundation Award and the Župančič Award, and his writings have been translated into various languages. Blatnik has served as an editor at various publishing houses, notably at Cankarjeva založba since 1992, where his thoughtful selection of titles has helped shape the landscape of modern Slovenian prose. Additionally, he is recognized for his theoretical work in publishing and teaches at the Department of Library and Information Science at the University of Ljubljana.
