Andrej Kotnik is a Slovenian professional footballer known for his versatility as an attacking midfielder. Born in Slovenia, he began his career in youth teams for Koper and Izola, eventually playing for clubs such as Gorica, where he had a successful stint, and Maribor. He gained international experience with loan spells in Italy and Spain, including appearances in Serie A. After notable performances, including being the fourth top scorer in the Slovenian league during the 2022/23 season, he returned to Slovenia to join Celje, signing a contract through the 2025/26 season.
