Andrés Alpízar

Andrés Alpízar is a competitive cyclist from Costa Rica who recently made headlines after suffering a severe accident during a national road cycling championship. He collided with a vehicle, resulting in multiple fractures, including to his femur and tibia. Despite the traumatic experience, Alpízar expressed gratitude for his life and emphasized the importance of valuing each moment. Besides his cycling career, he works as a teacher in a community educational center, where he is well-regarded by his students and colleagues.
