Andrés Julián Mesa Ramírez

Andrés Julián Mesa Ramírez, a 36-year-old subintendant of the Colombian National Police, was involved in a tragic incident resulting in the death of his ex-partner, Paola Chávez Bocanegra. He entered her workplace while off duty and used his service weapon to commit the crime before subsequently taking his own life. Mesa Ramírez had a history of domestic violence with two prior incidents recorded.
