Andreu Lefevre is a Montpellier-based entrepreneur known for his passion for literature, particularly the works of Peruvian author Mario Vargas Llosa. He gained attention for his ambitious and controversial project to recreate the fictional setting of Vargas Llosa's novel 'La Casa Verde' in Peru, which included plans for a modern establishment that drew upon the novel's themes. Lefevre's proposal aimed to stimulate local tourism and economy, but faced significant opposition from both the municipal authorities and the Catholic Church, ultimately leading to its demise.
