Andrew Cannestra is a neuro surgeon from the United States who recently made headlines after losing a legal battle for compensation related to a snowmobile accident he caused in Lapland, Finland, in February 2020. He sought £14 million in damages, claiming the accident resulted in severe brain injuries that forced him to cease performing surgeries. However, his case was undermined by a text message he sent shortly after the accident, in which he took responsibility for the incident, stating that it was his fault and expressing gratitude to the staff for their help.
