Andrew Mmbanga

Andrew Mmbanga is an innovative engineer from the College of Engineering and Technology at the University of Dar es Salaam. He gained attention for developing a unique bajaji (a small three-wheeled vehicle) that uses both water and fuel, aimed at reducing operating costs and improving efficiency in transportation. His design integrates a cooling system that utilizes water to maintain engine temperature, allowing for lower fuel consumption. Mmbanga is actively working on commercializing this innovation and plans to produce various models of bajajis including those powered by gas and solar energy.
