Andrey Solovyanov was a prominent Belarusian historian and leading researcher at the Academy of Management under the President of Belarus. He served as the scientific secretary of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus from 2012 to 2022 and had a distinguished academic career, having graduated from Vitebsk State University and later pursuing further studies at Belarusian State University. Tragically, he passed away at the age of 45 after suffering a suspected heart attack in an elevator, an incident that led to public discussion regarding the response of bystanders.
