Andrey Zayakin

Andrey Zayakin is a Russian physicist, journalist, and co-founder of the academic community 'Dissnet', which is dedicated to exposing plagiarism in the dissertations of public figures in Russia. He was recently sentenced in absentia to five years in a penal colony for allegedly financing an extremist organization through a donation to the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), which has been recognized as an extremist entity in Russia.
