Andriy Onufriyevich Humnytsky

Andriy Onufriyevich Humnytsky, better known as Agapiy Goncharenko, was a Ukrainian émigré and political activist who played a significant role in advocating for Ukrainian rights in America during the 19th century. Born in Kyiv, he faced persecution under the Tsarist regime, prompting his emigration to the United States in 1865, where he became a vocal critic of the oppression faced by his compatriots.
