Andruță Ceaușescu

Andruță Ceaușescu was the father of Nicolae Ceaușescu, the former Romanian dictator. A member of the Liberal Party and a former mayor, Andruță disowned his son after Nicolae's involvement in communist activities led to shame for the family. He is noted for having sent Nicolae away, expressing his disdain for the young man's political choices and the troubles they brought upon the family.
