Ângela Almeida

Ângela Almeida is a prominent figure in Cape Verdean sports, having started her handball career at the age of 12 and becoming a key player in the Women's Senior Handball Team. She has been recognized multiple times as a national champion and received awards for being the best athlete. Recently, she was elected as the new President of the Cape Verdean Handball Federation, succeeding António Teixeira, leading a team focused on the development of handball in the country.
