Ángeles Peñuelas

Ángeles Peñuelas, affectionately known as Nines, is the head of Oncology Nursing at the Vall d’Hebron Hospital. With over 30 years of experience in oncology, she is passionate about patient care and the vital role nurses play in the cancer treatment continuum. As president of the Spanish Society of Oncology Nursing, Peñuelas advocates for better training and support for nurses, emphasizing their critical role in patient emotional wellbeing and comprehensive cancer care.
