Angelo Poliziano

Angelo Poliziano was an influential Italian poet and scholar of the Renaissance, known for his work in humanism and his close ties with the Medici family. He was a contemporary of Simonetta Cattaneo and is recognized for his poetic tribute to her beauty, dubbing her 'La Sans Par', which means 'incomparable'.
