Angyelile Tende

Angyelile Tende is the Director of Accounting Standards, Research and Technical Services at the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) in Tanzania. She has been instrumental in implementing the NBAA Verification Number (NBAAVN), a new system aimed at verifying the authenticity of financial statements to combat the issue of falsified reports that have historically undermined the integrity of the accounting profession and resulted in significant financial losses for banks and the government.
