Anica Dorkin was previously the proxy for Ricosta Croatia, where she expressed ambitions for expanding the company's workforce and production capacity. Her leadership coincided with an era of growth for the company, which initially thrived after its establishment in 2016. However, due to economic challenges exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic and rising operational costs, Ricosta Croatia ultimately decided to close its Vukovar facility in 2024, leading to significant job losses.
