Anita Lesch
Anita Lesch, also known as Nita, was a Finnish singer whose tumultuous life included a challenging upbringing and a struggle with alcoholism. Abandoned as a newborn and later discovering her musical talent under the guidance of theater director Vivica Bandler, she initially found success as a member of the trio Sing Song Sisters. However, her marriage to Lars Jansson and the responsibilities of motherhood proved difficult, leading to her tragic decline and early death from liver cirrhosis at the age of 38. Her complex legacy is explored in detail by her daughter, Sophia Jansson, in the book 'Tre öar. Mamma, pappa och jag.'
