Anna de Peyster

Anna de Peyster, born on June 30, 1944, in Glasgow, Scotland, is best known for her marriage to media mogul Rupert Murdoch, with whom she was wed from 1967 to 1999. The daughter of an Estonian merchant seaman, Anna moved to Australia at a young age and began her career as a reporter for the Sydney Daily Telegraph.
