Anne Gakobwa

Anne Gakobwa is a fifty-year-old woman from the Batwa community in Burundi, currently living on the streets of Bujumbura. She faces the daily struggle of poverty and the challenges of raising her six children alone after her husband abandoned her. Desire for a better life drives her to seek support and opportunities for a more dignified existence, expressing hope that a small capital investment could help her start a business instead of continuing to beg on the streets.
