Anne Kananu

Anne Kananu is a Kenyan politician and former Nairobi Governor who previously served as Deputy Governor under Mike Mbuvi Sonko. Known for her extensive background in disaster management and coordination, she held the position of Chief Officer for Disaster Management in Nairobi County before her gubernatorial appointment. Kananu's recent political aspirations were thwarted as she missed out on a Principal Secretary position in the latest government reshuffle.
