Anne Wallace-Hadrill

Anne Wallace-Hadrill, also born on April 1, 1924, is a British great-grandmother and former educator who taught English at St. Hilda’s College, Oxford University. A radio mechanic in the Women’s Royal Naval Service during World War II, she has a background in lexicography with the Oxford English Dictionary. Wallace-Hadrill has lived next door to Josie Church since the 1980s, and they both celebrated their 101st birthday together.
