Ano Miller-Sewell

Recently disbarred attorney Ano Miller-Sewell is facing serious legal challenges as she is accused of swindling a client out of over $37 million in a fraudulent real estate transaction. Following a significant finding of professional misconduct, the General Legal Council has removed her from the roll of practicing attorneys in Jamaica. Miller-Sewell is scheduled to return to court on October 22 to address charges of fraudulent conversion and possession of criminal property, stemming from a failed property purchase in which only a fraction of the funds was reportedly transferred to the vendor.
