Anselmo Tarana

Anselmo Tarana was a prominent figure in the history of tango, having taken over the famous café Lo de Hansen after the death of its founder, Juan Hansen, in 1892. Under Tarana's management, the café became a significant hub for tango music and dance in Buenos Aires during the early 20th century, helping to shape the cultural landscape of the genre before the café's demolition in 1912.
