Ansumana Sambou

Mr. Ansumana Sambou is a staff member at Gam Egg, a poultry farm in Basori, The Gambia, which houses over 10,000 chicks and produces approximately 250 crates of eggs daily. During Minister Joof's visit, Sambou pointed out the competitive challenges posed by imported eggs and emphasized the importance of government support for youth involvement in agriculture, particularly in poultry farming, to reduce the country's dependence on imports and bolster local food production.
