Anton Khamelya

Anton Khamelya is a Belarusian activist who became known for his participation in the post-election protests in August 2020. After being injured during the protests and subsequently detained, he faced ongoing scrutiny from authorities due to his political activities. Over the following years, he lived in hiding to evade arrest, while balancing family life as a husband and father. In 2025, after being arrested again under politically motivated charges, he made the decision to emigrate with his family to Lithuania to ensure their safety and seek a better future.
