Antonia Kastono Martins

Antonia Kastono Martins is a 28-year-old journalist from Dili, Timor-Leste, who recently attended the World Journalists Conference (WJC) 2025 in South Korea. Upon returning home, she faced the challenge of transforming her interview materials and notes into articles, utilizing artificial intelligence tools to streamline her writing process. As a journalist for Diligente, an online media outlet, she is among the few in Timor-Leste actively experimenting with AI in journalism, aiming to enhance her work while maintaining originality.
