Antonio Ezequiel Cárdenas Guillén, also known as 'Tony Tormenta', was a prominent Mexican drug lord and a key figure in the Gulf Cartel, particularly during the cartel's violent battles for control in northeastern Mexico. He was the nephew of Osiel Cárdenas Guillén, the former leader of the Gulf Cartel, and took on a significant leadership role after his uncle's arrest. Cárdenas Guillén was known for his brutal tactics and was involved in various criminal activities, including drug trafficking and organized crime. His reign came to an end when he was killed in a shootout with Mexican authorities in November 2010.
