Antonio Fanciulli is the owner of the Hotel Bahamas, the only hotel open during the low season on the Island of Giglio at the time of the Costa Concordia disaster. On the night of the tragedy, he witnessed the chaos following the ship's sinking and interacted with the distraught Captain Francesco Schettino, who sought refuge in the hotel.
