Antonio Forcione is an acclaimed Italian guitarist, composer, and performer, often hailed as one of the finest acoustic guitarists in the world, comparable to Tommy Emmanuel. Originally a percussion student, he later transitioned to guitar, which is reflected in his intricate and rhythmic playing style that incorporates body percussion techniques. His musical range spans from gypsy jazz to Latin rhythms, captivating audiences with his imaginative compositions and mesmerizing performances. With 21 albums to his name, Forcione has graced stages worldwide, collaborating with renowned artists such as Charlie Haden and Angelique Kidjo. He recently performed with his quartet at the Macedonian Philharmonic in Skopje, showcasing his exceptional talent.
