Antonio Gates

Antonio Gates is a former NFL tight end who played his entire career with the San Diego Chargers from 2003 to 2018. Known for his exceptional athleticism and receiving skills, Gates became one of the most prolific tight ends in NFL history, amassing over 11,000 receiving yards and 116 touchdown receptions. A key player in the Chargers' offense, he was selected to eight Pro Bowls and earned numerous All-Pro honors. Gates' ability to create mismatches with defenders and his strong connection with quarterback Philip Rivers made him a standout player during his tenure, and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2025.
