Antonio Imbert Barreras was a prominent Dominican general known for his role in the military and political landscape of the Dominican Republic, particularly during the civil unrest of the 1960s and 1970s. He was also noted for having family members aboard the ill-fated CDA flight that tragically crashed into the sea in 1970.
