Antônio Machado Dias was a Brazilian judge known for his role as a corregedor in the judicial system. He gained notoriety for his efforts against organized crime, particularly during a period of escalating violence associated with the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) in São Paulo. In March 2003, he was assassinated in what was believed to be a retaliation by the PCC for his strict measures against the gang, making him one of the notable figures targeted by the criminal organization.
