Antoniu Mocioni

Antoniu Mocioni was a prominent figure in the aristocratic landscape of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, known for his significant contributions to the region of Banat in Romania. He acquired the estate at Bulci in 1858, which became a central hub for cultural and social gatherings, hosting notable personalities such as Franz Liszt and Carol I. His family's mausoleum in Foeni has recently been the subject of police investigation following reports of its desecration.
