APNU
The A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) is a political coalition in Guyana that primarily represents the interests of the Afro-Guyanese community. Formed in 2011, it is a coalition of several political parties, including the People's National Congress Reform (PNCR), and has historically positioned itself as a major opponent to the ruling People's Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C). In the recent general elections, APNU faced challenges as the newcomer party WIN made significant inroads into its voter base, capturing 22.4% of the votes.
