Arafa Djoumoua Adam Ibrahim

Arafa Djoumoua Adam Ibrahim is a Sudanese refugee who fled Al-Geneina, the capital of Western Darfur, in July 2023 due to violent conflict involving the Rapid Support Forces and the Sudanese army. She is a mother of six, who has faced immense challenges in her new life in the Aboutengué refugee camp in Chad, where she speaks about the difficulties of living in the harsh desert environment compared to her homeland.
