Araminta Gálvez is a Guatemalan visual artist known for her intimate exploration of the human figure and portraiture. With a background in journalism and communication, she combines her technical skills, honed through studies in drawing and painting under prominent Guatemalan artists, with a deep narrative approach in her work. Gálvez has showcased her art in various collective exhibitions and has held solo shows, including 'Expresiones' at the Museum of the University of San Carlos of Guatemala and 'Miradas y colores' at La Sala del Artista. Her latest exhibition, 'Entre la piel y la mirada,' opened at Casa Santo Domingo in Antigua Guatemala, where she delves into the connection between the surface of the body and perception.
