Archelous Thompson was involved in a violent incident in December 2022, where he was shot in the neck while attempting to intervene in a fight outside Papi’s Lounge. Thompson's actions to mediate the situation led to a near-fatal encounter with Donnovan Higgins, who allegedly shot him. He received treatment for his injuries at Princess Margaret Hospital.
