Ardeli

Ardeli is a 48-year-old online motorcycle taxi driver from Kebun Bunga, Sukarame, Palembang. He has been in the profession since 2017, previously working as a conventional motorcycle taxi driver since the early 2000s. Ardeli gained attention for his involvement in a solidarity action for Affan Kurniawan, a fellow driver who tragically died after being struck by a police vehicle during a demonstration. Ardeli and hundreds of other drivers paused their daily work to participate in peaceful protests and fundraising efforts for Affan's family, emphasizing the need for justice and better treatment of drivers.
