Ari Nakamura

Ari Nakamura, a Japanese-born dancer and designer, has made Israel her home for over 17 years, where she is married to renowned choreographer Ohad Naharin. Originally from Nagano, Japan, she began her ballet training at a young age and pursued a career that took her across Australia and Europe before settling in Israel. Ari has worked with Naharin and the Batsheva Dance Company, contributing as a costume designer for several performances. Recently, she experienced a personal awakening amidst the backdrop of the ongoing conflict in Israel, leading her to reflect on her family, career, and the meaning of home.
