Ari Sigurpálsson
Ari Sigurpálsson is an Icelandic professional footballer who is making a move from Víkingur Reykjavík to the Swedish club Elfsborg. He is a promising talent who grew up in HK and had a stint with the youth teams of Bologna in Italy before joining Víkingur in 2022. During his time with Víkingur, Ari helped the team secure the Icelandic Championship in 2023 and the Icelandic Cup in both 2022 and 2023. He has made 16 appearances in European competitions, scoring three goals, and notably scored the first goal for Víkingur in their historic win over Cercle Brugge, marking the first victory for an Icelandic team in a UEFA group stage.
