Arianna Wairimu

Arianna Wairimu was a one-year-seven-month-old girl who tragically became a symbol of the failures in Kenya's healthcare system. She suffered from Pearson Syndrome and, after undergoing a successful bone marrow transplant in India, died from a rotavirus infection amid controversies surrounding her medical expenses and the inadequate response from the Social Health Authority.
