Ariel Barali

Rabbi Ariel Barali, born in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem, is a prominent figure in the national-religious community in Israel. He studied at prestigious institutions such as Yeshivat Jerusalem for Youth and Yeshivat Merkaz HaRav. In 2019, he became the Rabbi of the settlement of Beit El and serves as the head of the 'Mishpat Le'Am' institute, focusing on halachic issues. He is also known for his work in the special rabbinical court dealing with cases of sexual abuse. Recently, Barali has been in the news for promoting his new book, 'Gvulcha Shalom – Society and Protection According to Halacha,' which addresses the halachic perspectives on sexual abuse and aims to raise awareness within the religious community. His efforts focus on empowering young people to recognize inappropriate situations and encouraging open discussions about the severity of such issues.
