Aristide Tarnagda

Aristide Tarnagda is a prominent Burkinabé theater director and artistic director known for his significant contributions to the performing arts in Africa. He serves as the director of the 'Récréatrales', a biennial festival that celebrates contemporary African theater. Recently, he was in the news for his role as the choreographer for the opening ceremony of the 29th edition of the Panafrican Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO), where he presented a performance themed 'Ouilli', meaning 'Rise' in Dioula, to which Minister Gilbert Ouédraogo expressed his support and appreciation.
