Aristos Constantinou was a notorious figure in the world of investment fraud, known for orchestrating a Ponzi scheme through his company CWM, which operated between 2013 and 2015, defrauding hundreds of victims out of millions. His extravagant lifestyle and claims of inherited wealth from his murdered father created an illusion of legitimacy for his fraudulent operations, which ultimately led to his conviction in 2023 for fraud, money laundering, and other charges. Constantinou first disappeared after being sentenced to 14 years in prison, and efforts to locate him continue, as he remains a wanted fugitive.
