Aritut Sungsuwan is a Thai national who was incarcerated in New Zealand for his involvement in a methamphetamine smuggling operation. He was identified as a key figure orchestrating drug imports from Thailand while serving time in Rimutaka Prison, where he used contraband cellphones to coordinate deliveries and manage connections with drug contacts in Thailand. His activities were central to a broader drug syndicate, and he was ultimately deported to Thailand after completing his sentence.
