Ariwo Ovejijo
Ariwo Ovejijo is known as the first Otaru of Igarra, having led the migration of the Igarra people from the Kwararafa Kingdom to their current location in Edo State in the 14th century. Under his leadership, the foundation was laid for the establishment of Igarra as a kingdom, which is organized around five ruling houses, reflecting the lineage of Ovejijo's descendants.
