Arman Ali
Arman Ali, a 40-year-old employee at a raw materials wholesale market in Karwan Bazar, was recently in the news after being detained by police during a crackdown on a rally organized by the banned organization Hizb ut-Tahrir. His release was facilitated by Asif Mahmud Sojib Bhuiyan, an advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports as well as the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, who intervened to secure his freedom and later took him for medical treatment.
