Arman Turuntaev

Arman Turuntaev is a local community leader and head of the homeowners' association (ОСИ) in a residential complex in Astana, Kazakhstan. He has recently been in the news due to ongoing discussions about the installation of security barriers (шлагбаумы) in the complex following a tragic incident where a child was hit by a car. Turuntaev noted that while there is a need for such measures to enhance safety, previous proposals for installation have faced resistance from residents and regulatory challenges from local authorities.
